The Official Launch of Camogie took place with the first public match between Craobh a'Cheithnigh and Cúchulainn on July 17th at a Gaelic League Fair in Meath. -
1905
Máire Ní Chinnéide was elected the first Uachtarán of the officially established Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael. -
1906
Seán Duffy, a member of the Crokes Club, Dublin, begin his life-long commitment to Camogie. -
1912
The first ever inter-county match was played between Dublin and Louth in Jones's Road. -
1913
The first ever Colleges club was established in U.C.D. by Professor Úna Ní Fhaircheallaigh. -
1915
The inter-varsity Ashbourne Cup Competition, the oldest Camogie competition, was inaugurated. -
1930
The American Camogie Association was established. -
1932
The All-Ireland Senior Championship was inaugurated, won by Dublin. Camogie was being played in all thirty-two counties at this time. -
1934
The Final was played in Croke Park for the first time. Provincial Councils were established. -
1954
The first Inter-Provincial competition was held in Meath, and the year ended with a Jubilee Banquet attended by Máire Ní Chinnéide as Guest of Honour. -
1956
The Gael Linn Inter-Provincial competition was inaugurated on an annual basis. -
1964
The 60th Anniversary was marked by the first All-Ireland Club Championship. -
1966
The first National Training Programmes for Coaches were introduced. -
1969
The All-Ireland Colleges Council was set up with Éilís Ní Spealáin as president. -
1972
C.C.I.A. was set up with Úna Uí Phuirséil as Uachtarán. -
1974
The All-Ireland Minor and Junior Colleges Championships were inaugurated, and Camogie was inlcuded for the first time in Féile na nGael.

Comhairle na mBunscoileanna was set up with Sighle Nic an Ultaigh as Uachtarán. The first Senior National League Final was played and won by Tipperary. -
1979
The 75th Anniversary was marked by the first Junior National League Final won by Kildare, an Idir-Ghaeltacht Competition and a Banquet. -
1980
The first full-time Ardstiúrthóir was appointed with a central office provided in Croke Park. -
1986
Administration, Referee and Public Relations Training Programmes were developed, National Development Seminars held, and the Association joined the N.C.T.C. Programme. -
1992
The All-Ireland Intermediate Championship was inaugurated and won by Dublin. -
1995
Foras na Gaeilge, then Bord na Gaelige, became the Association's first major sponsor. -
1999
The fifteen-a-side team formation and the full G.A.A. pitch were adopted. -
2000
The All-Ireland Minor B Championship was inaugurated and won by Laois. -
2003
The first full-time Sponsorship and Finance Manager was appointed. The All-Ireland Junior Championship was inaugurated, won by Crossmaglen. -
2004
The Association celebrates 100 years with a Gala Banquet, the announcement of the Team of the Century and numerous other events. The first All Star team was announced in December 2004. -
2005
The Camogie Association appoints a full-time National Development Co-ordinator and two regional development co-ordinators. -
2006
Club numbers reach an all time high of 515 with the work of the Regional Development Co-ordinators paying dividend. -
2007
Cork All Star Mary O'Connor appointed to the position of Director of Camogie Development.
